This is why at the start of 2016 Morgan McKinley, M3S, La Creme and Accreate - all together as Morgan McKinley Group - took up a new challenge: to contribute the equivalent of a million euros to charities and worthy causes across our global footprint of offices by the end of 2018. We called it the Morgan McKinley Million.
In short it is about harnessing the collective goodwill and team spirit of our 800 people to do more by going beyond to improve the lives of others. In order for us to do this we have to push ourselves well beyond what we have done in the past. To put it into context, this will be at least 10 times more than we have raised in the last 3 years! We organised teams in every country: Ireland, UK, China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Australia to really start planning, and on the 5th July 2016 we launched the initiative across our Global business.
From the UK to Australia and Tokyo to Singapore, we all participate in a range of events and fundraisers, and you can be a part of it too! We’ve partnered with charities such as Unicef (Hong Kong), Bliss (UK), Careers Ready (UK), River of Hearts (Shanghai), and Lou's Place (Australia), to name just a few. Our staff have participated in Nuts Challenge obstacle courses, Sorting Days, marathons, and bake sales to raise money for those in need.
The business is striving to contribute and raise €1 Million towards CSR activities and initiatives by 2018. This is an ambitious target but with everyone’s collective efforts globally including the company’s we believe we can do it!
